Biography

Raymond grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. He then went on to attend Kent State University in the fall of 2015. He was involved in the school's marching and pep bands for two years. He then began his job at TeleProductions at Kent State, working as a student employee for Kent State. He mainly worked on sporting events like football, volleyball and mens and women's basketball games, learning how to broadcast an ESPN quality games. He also worked on short film's with the team as well as documentaries and live-web streamed conferences. During the time he wasn't working, he was heavily involved in the on campus ministry Cru becoming their lead sound engineer for their weekly meetings. He then graduated from Kent State in May of 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Production.
After college, Raymond was hired at Beulah Beach Camp and Retreat Center as a member of their summer media team. While working there, he took on the role of the assistant team leader, a step under his employer, on the media team. He was in charge of daily meetings with the other team members, informing others of what is happening each day. In his job, he mainly performed the roles that an A/V director would do. He learned how to operate ProPresenter 6, recording and streaming daily mixes, became fluent on the Allen & Heath GLD 112 mixer and lighting program MyDMX. He was in charge of making sure everything ran smoothly and that all team members working with him knew their jobs. It was also at Beulah Beach that Raymond proposed to his now fiance Allie, as they met in college through Cru and worked together at Beulah that summer.
Near the end of the summer, Raymond was hired as a full-time staff member at Beulah Beach, taking on the job of the A/V Director of the camp. As the A/V Director, he took on more responsibility other than just the auditorium. He was in charge of contacting and working with the guest groups that came every week to the camp to have setups ready for them. He would be in charge of changing the stage to meet the specifications of the bands that come in as well as setting up projectors, monitors, audio boards, mics and room setups for guest groups. He setup and ran the auditorium for each group where he would run lighting, audio and projections all on his own. Raymond also was incharge of researching and upgrading A/V equipment for the camp as well as designing the stage setup for their annual WhiteOut Retreat and summer set design for Summer 2020. During the offseason, he also created various promotional videos for the camp, highlighting how fun each individual camp was in order to get campers to come back again the next summer.
